hi everyone!~

ah the last day of the bloggin comp. shall try to contribute a lil =P

actually i also dunno what to blog about.. hmmm...

one thing i must say. i really really hope they don't reshuffle classes. if they do and we get affected, let's all go protest. the other classes got ppl leave not our business =P since our class shld be all can stay. and i really hope so. 07S6B will nt be the same if anyone leaves. sighh. i really hope i dun leave this class.

haha today was an ermm.. good (in a way) day.

coz it was raining! and i normally dislike rain BUT BUT BUT because of rain we didnt have to go to mac to do water training! the snrs said wait till 4. if at 4 rain hvnt stopped, we stay in sch do land. but guess what, college and salt centre gyms both used! ahahaha so we had NO training! =PPPP

(but we have to make up lar)

then after that, who wld have known tt my "prayer" worked so well and it continued raining raining raining.... hahaha... then i got no umbrella. (haha) so i decided to stay in sch till the rain abated. as usual tried to do some work but ended up talking. arghh!

but it didnt!

ahahhahaha.

so when i went home, i was very dry. =P

haha for chemistry i have this sickening feeling we r at e bottom of e level. arghhh! gonna flung my test as well la waddaheck. and yes im e blur stupid one who left lots of my mcqs blank. 7 i think. T.T

ahaha. well nvm. next time we'll own the rest in chemistry, no?

and all of us will attempt to understand what is being taught, particularly physics.

and we will be more enthu during lessons.

Hello everybody!

Since tomorrow is the last day for the blogging competition, i shall contribute my two cents worth! hehe today lao yu sheng very fun! I never ate so much of that stuff until today. Well, may all the things we wished for come true! May everything go smoothly for everyone and stay happy! :) And anyway, there is make up lesson for econs next wed from 1-2pm cos Mrs Chiw has official duties for A Level results release so she wont be here for lessons on fri. But another econs teacher will come in to give us work. So the 2 groups who are suppose to present this fri (Zhiwei's grp and Eddie's grp) will present next wed. Yup thats all. Good luck for econs presentation! :)

WHEE. 101

Today's the last night before the blogging competition ends, so everyone please post post post! :D

101 = CRASH COURSE hahahaha. Anyone interested in signing up for GEMS modules! :D I went for unicycling today, was quite fun! I know Eddie needs someone to take his place for Archery on thursday, anyone up for it? WHEEE GEMS are fun! I signed up for Teochew haha anyone wants to learn teochew with me? :) Lol I think there's cantonese too! But no Hokkien :(

Yusheng today was fun, just that a lot spilled out hahaha. We shall all do well academically, be happy, be healthy, umm... be rich (?) and anything else I guess! Everyone excel in your CCAs! :D AND OF COURSE NOT FORGETTING Artemis for first! :)

NUMBER 100 POST =D

HEY EVERYONE

NOT MUCH TIME LEFT TO BLOG, IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO, AT LEAST CONTRIBUTE ONCE, HERE'S YOUR FINALE CHANCE.

Now on to the more exciting stuff.

Monday was rough, a demoralising chem test, followed by stress relieving physics, then GP comprehension. Life gets better as we go along - I hope.

Today wasn't so bad, but just as tiring - why is physics so stress-less?
<3 the physics video today, humorous actions coupled with the smash every now and then - followed by the "arghhhh" sound when the smash occurs. Pretty much enjoyed it.

Though we can't avoid the inevitable criticism from our chem tutor about the disappointing marks, at least we haven't gotten the paper back yet, so lets stay blissful in ignorance so far... I'm also hoping we don't get physics back so soon T_T

here's what everyone has been busy with so far
- Chem tutorial (over)

- Econs project (lucky devils get to present later)
- Physics tutorial (over)

and here's more stuff to be busy over
- Physics Lab experiment stuff (27/2 today) hand up tmw

- Math closed book (but not closed-mouth) graded assignment next friday (omg?)

Lost $175.00 to bookshop today... Graphing techniques sure cost a bomb. To think I've been postponing the purchase since 1.5 years ago...

And the highlight of today - LAO YU SHENG =DDDDDDDD
though it wasn't that appetizing for some of us, still cheers to Mr R for organizing the activity
class bonding with teachers N class at the same time, i'm not a great fan of Yu Sheng, but it's probably one of the best that I've eaten so far, excluding the hygiene stuff, due to ink on our fingers. Photos will be uploaded later I think...

How was chem test? did anyone complete the whole thing, no tikam? (asking weilun and farrica, our scholars)
at least half of my mcq qns were guesswork. NO TIME!! hahas(: but at least better than our dear assistant-ct-rep. 7 blank mcqs. q:

so we had another mass convo today. yesterday's one was super crappy. spamming of handwrite tool. sophia's handwriting was the best among everyone, due to some software which i have forgotten the name. anyway this is also crap. :D today's convo was... pretty much crap too. BUT we had an end-result in mind. That is to reach a conclusion for WHAT we are going to PERFORM during FAC CIP. AND we did NOT reach a final decision. :D time efficiency < 0?

but anyway its more or less some song singing with guitar accompaniment, erhu performance perhaps and erm... thats about it. :D

so hurry hurry hurry. reach a decision soon! OH and just a reminder. The Inter Class Blogging Competition is reaching its end on Feb 28, that is this coming wednesday. Please, post more interesting entries!!

ahaha o7s6b is a rather stony class. 如石头般地不动. we're usually the last class to leave auditorium after lectures or ct sessions, and what we do is just to sit and stand and stone there. wonderful stoners.

Artemis Fac Cip Phase 3

Hi ppl, this is for the ppl who're curious abt what we will be doing for fac cip on 3rd march

1300:meet in sch,take attendance, final briefing
1330:set off to Home
1345:arrival at home, brief intro, preparation for performances (2 per class)
1415:start of performances
1500:start of tea time + interaction
1600: handicraft session
students break up into grps of 3, attached to 3 elderly. bring staples!
residents teach students how to fold ketupat using ribbons for deco
students in turn teach them how to fold CNY lanterns using Ang Pao packets (err i guess
we'll somehow have to figure out how to fold them)
1800:latest time we will be dismissed from Home

Note: No transportation is provided back to sch.
Tea will be provided.

Each class is to put up 2 performances to entertain the elderly, and try to put up performances that cater to the elderly instead of the youngsters.
Eg: oldies, wayang, lion dance, malay dance, skit?

The above items are suggestions by the fac comm, but if anyone has better suggestions for the performances, please tell me ASAP ( latest by tomm) cos we really don't have much time to prepare our item. And hopefully the whole class can stay back to rehearse the item at least once through?

Suggestions for the item please??? :)

Greetings there, 6B.

just want to take this opportunity to say that you've been a Fabulous (with a capital F) class so far. i'm glad i have a bunch of cheerful, lively younglings, who seem rather intelligent and keen to learn, while staying fun and enthu.
kudos esp to the class for:
-their orientation skit. it was indeed a surprise to see Mike up there rapping.
-its EXCELLENT showing at the recent cross-country. i was pretty surprised that Artemis didn't fair better especially with so many top placings by our class. you guys rock!
-mr Tim (Weilun) and ms Koh (Farrica) for their excellent O level results and being featured in the papers and even on TV. but also to everyone in class who took the O's and did well.

just want to also add that it is heartening to see a class with such strong class spirit, and hope it only grows stronger as time goes by. studies are important, but so are other aspects of life in junior college. remember, you are given this opportunity... privilege even to learn, so don't pass it by. our education system may not be ideal... far be it, as i see it, and certainly not suited for everyone. but, there are still ample opportunities to learn and grow, and as long as you try and keep and open mind and (hopefully) maintain a positive attitude towards learning, because it sure doesn't hurt.
no one demands of expects A's from you all of the time. but just don't shortchange yourselves by setting the bar too low. all your tutors welcome you to approach them to clarify your doubts and concerns. and it'll be less painful for everyone if you tried to not let it accumulate until just before the exams then let open the floodgates. no one will scold you if you approach us with a question or two every now and then.

just hope that the class can try to make it to assembly a little earlier in the morning. yes i and the school are aware of the class bench problem. new benches are being ordered and locations for them being planned as well. but i hope you guys can also take the ini to try to move in rather than wait behind all the other slackers who block your way and hold you up, because guess what? when it comes to the crunch you guys will get into trouble and not them if ever admin decides to make an example of the latecomers.
and don't expect me to stop reminding you about your collar pins, hair and looking presentable anytime soon either. c'mon, smart decent people like yourselves ought to look smart and decent, right?
ok, have been rambling on for quite a bit now. Happy Lunar New Year. posting comes out next week, and i hope 6B will remain the same 6B even then and after. the pace will pick up a bit, but as long as everyone is willing to put in that effort the next 2 years will be a relatively painless and more importantly fun, enjoyable and memorable learning experience for all.

back. haha

happy cny to all. hahas. I'm back from Thailand.

It was a rather fun trip. Accomodation and food were all much better than previous year's. We stayed at this Tara Park (Bangkok), which is actually 7-eleven's training centre. Hahas.

Singapore didn't do as well in this year's competition, as compared to last year. We achieved a group 4th and individual 7th (me) in division 1 as well as a group 2nd and individual 5th in division 2.

Arrhh must mug for chemistry le. Gone for the whole week, missed out on lectures and tutorials and make-up revisions. GG le. :D

hi... happy post cny to the Sixbees...cny is really tiring, so many thing to do, to play and to count$_$...got drain out totally on 初一，初二。...anyway, to comment on our pre-cny, we really haf tons of fun bonding, be it in sohso's house, sch celebration or mel's house(regreted dat i wasn't there to share de fun tgt)... anyway, still dun understand y siong is "hated" by some previously, and hope now we can put everything straight forward and united as a class(which is de class dat got most bonding activities)..maybe, we can haf a stj, den we lao yu sheng den, anyway,got photo to share abt sch x

hi everyone! hope u guys have had a wonderful cny filled with lots of happiness, laughter, food, goodies, angpows, etc! =P

i noticed no one blogged anything abt cny celebrations in sch! hmm so i shall try. =)

the class stall! we actually made a nice profit out of our grossly-overpriced jellies and kacang putih! amazing isnt it. to think that the huge number of u guys who came to crash my hse actually managed to get something done. i realised that most of us were slacking (me included sorry) (playing cards/piano/guitar/bball, dancing...) whereas a few ppl were hard at work in the kitchen making the jellies. so THANK YOU to those who have been slogging hard for the sake of our class.

the cny celebrations were quite cool i must say. can really feel some of the xin nian qi fen, i think partly due to the overhanging red banners in the central plaza. there was a concert/performance thing which was rather enjoyable and watchable, i'm sure, if i actually went to watch most of it. haha. most of us were sitting arnd daoing the performance. and trying to practise the fac dance.

fac dance was rather a disappointment. we didnt win (actually we nv expected to). nevertheless we had a lot of fun yeaaa?

our class is a class of stoners. seriously. but stoning together is fun. for the erm more-than-half-the-class outing, we stoned for abt 1 and a half hours before we actually decided where to go and actually go. yay. stoning is fun.

i realised my posts usually do not make a lot of sense, just like me. ahaha. forgive me.

HAPPY CNY

happy chinese new year everyone. hope this year will be a good year for our class.

about the two incidents that happened, i was present for the one at mel's house. the other one i'm not very sure, so pardon me for not helping out. for the one at mel's house. i hope that it has help to make the class be more bonded. what happened after i left, i dunno. but i guess everything's quite okie now.

and thanks wenwei, i wasn't late for the reunion dinner. if not for ur parents rite, i would have been late. i made it there jus on time at 7.30pm. haha. and thanks WEI LUN for the forfeit (though i think my forfeit for u and zc was worse. thank you for shou xia liu qin)

i'm thinking of having a day for us to gather with senior class and lao yu sheng? ya, that's jus my idea la. but if ur wan to, i can ask hany and plan it out. it will most likely be next week during sch days if there is.

hello ppl, firstly i would like to wish one and all a very piggy happy new year!!! hope everything will go on smoothly this year, everyone stays healthy and fit and all the best in our studies and stay peaceful!! ahha...
anyway, i seriously have no idea what happened at mel's house..eh i totally missed out everything..was i considered lucky not to be there??haha i dun noe..but iwas like in the mood to blog and went to our class blog and the prev entries realli surprised me..its like wha so happening yet i missed it all..but was glad tt there was thrashing out n stuff..i noe some of the class ppl dun realli like some of the class ppl but i realli hope tt we can all embrace the good in ppl and realli accept them lo..if they did sth tt u dun like, just tell them nicely and talk it out..n those receiving comments just take it lightly and ponder over it lo n change if necessary for the good of it..yah..one of my new year resolutions is to embrace the good in ppl and try not to hate anyone this yr..so far so good.. cos i realised from experience tt it is realli tiring to hate someone..ultimately u will be the one losing out cos its just so angering n exhausting..i used to hate a lot of ppl in when i was in sec3 and initial sec 4..some ppl in my clss just pissed me off so badly and just couldn't accept the ways of how some ppl act..and i started to realli hate them..complaining n grumbling n gossipping with friends abt them..but onli to realise tt i have not been happy ..its so draining to the soul..haha..so i concluded tt its no good to hate..n also realisd tt it is those who take things lightly n see the good in ppl who are truly happy with life..yah..so hope tt in this new year let's start anew..leave behind all the bad feelings and forgive n forget..its by destiny tt we can be tgt as a class so let's cherish the time we have now k..dun wait till its too late ..

Hello everyone I've just returned from an aimless training session. But anyway, I would like to say that I feel that somehow after these 3 days of, should I say, intensive class bonding (hurhur), together with some difficult times, I think the class is now closer. :) Although we had some problems (for details please refer below), I'm glad we could talk it out and I hope everyone feels better now.

But no matter what, after this week it's going to be a new start, so we will start anew. :D Happy Chinese New Year!

it was an interesting day. a day of truths.

firstly, i would like, especially, to thank 3 persons for being rather honest to me today. i would also like to thank the rest of those who went to Mel's home, for informing me on my immaturity or "overboardness" or something.

next, i apologize for going too far by slamming the door at Mel's house. i'd like to think that it was because i was not thinking rationally, yet i feel that it was on purpose. do i make sense?

i thank everyone for what you have told me. i will try my best to change, as time progresses. i will try to be .. less lame more serious, less violent (im not sure when i am tho) ?

regarding Michael's point that this class blog has sort of turned into my blog, i really hope that more people can come post to 'convert' it back. i'm only trying to liven up the place with my previous posts for the competition.

volcano eruptions =D

Haven’t posted on this blog for ages already. Before I start talking bout what exactly happened today, please allow me to commend Siong for making this blog so cool. I sincerely appreciate all your efforts in making this blog this meaningful, though it looks like this has become your blog cos it is full of your entries.

I believe everyone in the class has the right to know what exactly happened today. For those who don’t really know what had happened today, please let me fill you in with the details. Before I continue, please pardon me if I’m too straightforward or frank… (and there might be inaccuracy in some parts so correct me if im wrong)

Firstly, it’s the Andre incident.
This morning, Andre sat at a corner by himself today. Being a caring classmate, Jack went up to Andre and said “eh emo ah?” Andre smiled at Jack after that, and in the next moment, he called Jack a bitch and smashed the glass bottle in his hands against the floor. Right after that, Andre ran into the toilet and hid inside the cubicle for quite some time. Some of us went in to check on me out of concern but he did not reciprocate. Honghao went in and even he became pissed off because Andre slammed the door on him.

I thought things had gotten rather serious so I called Mr Remedios for help. We went into the toilet together and asked Andre some questions. Cant remember exactly what Mr Remedios asked and anw, Andre took quite some time to reply to each question but Mr Remedios waited patiently for his answer. After a short while, Andre came out of the toilet and joined the class for lunch. That’s about all.

Next, it’s Siong’s incident.
After lunch at Pizzahut, we went to Mel’s house for some games and err ‘stoning’ sessions. Yep so we ended up playing Indian poker. We came to this round when Siong lost and he had to do a forfeit. Forgot who, but some idiot suggested that he kiss someone. So we decided that the loser for next round will get to kiss Siong. Kaiming lost in the next round and he was supposed to kiss Siong. BUT, due to various obvious reasons, Kaiming just wouldn’t kiss Siong. Siong couldn’t tolerate the way he was being treated hence he went out of the house and slammed Mel’s door (anw, Siong I guess u should be sorry for slamming her door, its just too rude) alright. So after that, we spent bout 2 hours discussing bout Siong and Andre.

So basically, today’s the day which 2 volcanoes in our class erupted. BOOM!!!!! Ok so the above is a brief recount of what happened today. Will continue tomorrow then comment bout both of them.

I'm SOOOOOOO sorry

Yesterday we made the jelly and kacang puteh, was a rather nice experience. (anyway my aspirations have always been to be a house-husband [so slack!! lol] ) Spent around 2 hours non-stop to do the jelly, disproportionate numbers of each colour though >_< 40+ pink or red, 60+ yellow and just a few green.

To be frank, I haven't tasted my own jelly until today, even during the sabbatical, I let my cooking partner eat up the food. Today was the first time I tested the jelly, realised it was rather nice. Stir for so long, better be good lor, otherwise my effort all go to waste.

Jelly sold rather quickly, with the jingle of "jelly, kacang puteh" initially created by long yi, i think. Mostly because our seniors supported us and also helped to physically promote our goods. A pity we didn't have enough moulds for all 4 packets of jelly powder, only managed to use up 2.25 packets. Later when jelly was gone, the jingle became "kacang , puteh" which caught the attention of quite a lot of people, even stall-keepers from other classes.

Well, we made a profit of around $60 which was rather the most essential part of the whole experience. Thanks to everyone who contributed in one way or another ( I'm sounding cliche )

Later that day we had class outing, but the decision making took so long, that welfare rep had to give the ultimatum. Somehow arrangements went wrong at pizza hut, and we had to wait quite a long time to enter. One group was playing the racing game on handphones, the other group was playing zong ji mi ma - truth or dare. The dare was rather memorable, it starts with the spice, then the sourness seeps in, together with the parsley taste, but the most exciting part is when the lemon tea taste surfaces too. hahas. wonderful results from cross country. kaiming came in 1st, with a time of 15:56 when 2nd came in at 16:40+. thats nearly a minute of difference. then longyi came in 4th. and coincidentally, yaolei came in 14th. hahas. 1, 4, 14.

for the mass runners, we have quite a few people making it under 100. for the girls, we have cat and alicia coming in 39th and 40th respectively. for the guys, michael made the 21st position. its a pity, missing by 1 position to receive the trophy. hahas. then i made the 100th place. that was pure tyconess. hahas.

The BIG day comes tomorrow. The Valentines / Friendship / Revelation / X-country day. Hope everyone has prepared their gifts for their angels / mortals (if u have one) and to ur friends/loved ones.

Revelation day isn't much basically, since almost everyone knows who their angels are already (with the exception of blur sotong 10 A1s and Melissa whose angels have not replied).

欠一科就可以获得11个A1的完美成绩虽然让她感到些许可惜，但对考取10个A1，已经是她意料以外的事情了。原来许越荃在考历史、化学和高级数学最后三个试卷时因为食物中毒病倒了。她说，当时自己的头脑完全已经处于不清楚的状态，所以离开考场完全没有信心。她之前已经跟父母报备，自己这次的会考成绩可能不理想。

不过，抱病上场的许越荃还是拿到了一张漂亮的成绩单。她一拿到成绩就第一时间通报父母，电话另一端的父亲只是开心地说：“很好，很好，很好。”

除了许越荃之外，和她同班的张睿涓和陈丽彬以及来自中国的奖学金得主周恬恬也考取10个A1。

对于学校这次能取得优越成绩，校长陈韵嫦说，除了学生们的努力外，教师们也功不可没。她说：“教师们都付出了很多心血去协助学生应付会考，让整所学校都充满斗志。”陈韵嫦说，学校近年来的成绩一直在进步，希望来年能更上一层楼。

hey yoyo! haha..so happy after reading the previous entries in this blog.. now i really feel that our class is super unique, super special n super great!!.. we have lots of potential in various aspects realli, firstly, we can study cos like so many smart ppl in our class!! haah secondly, we can entertain n perform!! haha cos we won in artemis peformance for campfire!! haha thirdly, i feel we realli got ppl's attention sia, cos like we always get scolded by teachers..haha though it isn't gd but we try to improve on tt n be famous for our gd work!! haha n we have our very talkative ct rep chip who knows so many seniors n can help pull strings..haha great! n we have our very responsible asst ct rep sophia who realli gets everyone down to do work (lantern)! haha so great man. sorry i couldn't help out with lantern cos i had cca whole day 9 to abt 7.30..damn tired lo..but the lantern's super cute!!haha yah it does look kinda retarded like the first impression is like the pig's saying" duh..." haha..hahayeah man..we rock !! n everyone's staying..continue to leave our legacy ok..we will continue to strive n win n yah do well in everything!! woohoo..haha=)

Our Lantern

i jus heard that apollo won the dramafest today. was quite shocked, cause many others felt that we, artemis actually own the other faculties. but it's okie, WE ARE LEADING. haha, we still have a lot more events of which we can help the fac to earn the faculty points. we have the fac dance, and the cross country. so i hope that everyone in the class will go for tuesday's fac dance and try ur best to learn it. and for those we are representing our fac for the school cross country. then for the lantern, we have finished it. i wouldn't like to mention who are those finished it, cause the lantern is part of 6B's production, so i shall say that it's a whole class effort. Hello everybody!

Yay so happy! I believe the namelist is going to stay the same right? Yea! 6B rocks! :) Haha just want to congratulate all the non-ip people for doing so well in the Os! haha all so smart lah. I'm so glad all of you did so well and the IP people also did not bad right. and congrats weilun for getting 10A1s! Such a wonderful birthday present lah. haha and chip koh even took the effort to scan in the newspaper article and highlight our names! Anyway, today has been a day filled with mixed emotions. haha first from nervous to frightened to suprised to happiness and then to embarrassment. why embarrassment? Because i appeared on TV and i looked super weird! and what's worse is that so many 6B people went to watch lah. ahh so embarrassing. hopefully no one taped it down. Anyway, just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me in one way or another. hey hey, look at this pic and you will see two underlined names. their names sound very familiar... haha, they are none other than farrica and weilun, both from 07s6B. so proud of them. haha. today was a good day for all of us, all the worries are gone, all the tension is gone, but, all the students are still around. 07S6b will still be 07S6b. there wouldn't be a need to give another name for our class after the second intake.

As you all can see la, weilun and farrica both got 10 A1s. Farrica got another B3 for her third language which is Japanese. they are both 状元leh. oh my god, so smart. Other than the two of them, we also have a lot of smart ppl who are all NON-IP. I shall list all their scores out.

The high school students got the higher chinese paper back too. Longyi got a1, eddie got a1 for both his Higher Chinese and Malay (the best in our class for the high school ppl i think), i got b3, AMC got b3 and that's all i rmb la. sorry to those whom i haven't ask and those i had forgotten. and since now we all gonna stay, i suggest we start on the lantern and the planning of the STJ. Happiest day of my life

Today is the happiest day of my life.Everyone got back their o lvl results, and i got back mine too.=D.Happy to get the grades that i had been dreaming of, and happy to know that all the non-ip students did very well for their o's ;)(especially Wei Lun and Farrica). if all the 26 members in our class remain, i believe that we can spend our days happily throughly these 2 years as 07s6b. As for sophia, dun be too upset over ur malay le,its just an extra language.=).

Wah there are so many posts today. Haha just wanted to post as an official member of the class (while i know i'm still from 6B) before tomorrow. Eh i think everybody is very scared, especially the non-ip people so i just want to say good luck everyone! I think all of us have really worked very hard so we are going to get all our A1s and 6 points. especially CAT, ZHIJIE, TINGJUN, MELISSA, SOPHIA, WEILUN. If there was one last thing I had to say...

A few more hours left to O level results, thanks for postponing the physics quiz. I knew I should have gone with you all for the outing, felt guilty every second of my way home, which is 5,400 seconds of feeling guilty.

More often than not, I find myself regretting things that I do not do, rather than things that I do. There's always the reason "what's done is done " but there's not one concerning what you didn't do. It's rather sad that I've not been interacting that much these few days, sorry, I'm still sorting things out. From what I know, most of the people think that I don't want to talk with anyone, given some more time, perhaps within the next week, I would be able to regain my confidence and talk again. I guess I haven't really been treasuring anything so far.

Tonight I shall host another mass convo, no topic and no VIPs this time, I promise not to screw up again. Its just for interaction, because I've been missing out a lot, hope everyone will be online, we've never had full attendance before, also hoping it would be full this time (although it will be very very lag)

Can't resist the urge to blog, anyway it seems I communicate better through text. We should really really get started on the lantern, I suppose everyone wants paper for the center of the lantern, one big sphere of paper sounds quite easy to make... Considering that we don't have much time left, this may be the most preferred option.

Amidst all of the gossips, I would like to commend siong hwai for doing most of the job of the painting, although everyone feels that he may not be able to translate his feelings into speech in the correct tone and sounding rather on the defensive stance all the time, I still feel that his work should not go unrecognized, so thanks siong hwai anyway. (hope I'm not the only one who feels this way.)

Speaking of which, today's chem lecture was pretty amusing. The nice lecturer didn't dare to shout at us, and only threatened to stop teaching when we were too noisy. Also finally realised how IP gives the high school people an advantage so far, must score better than them hor!!

Tuesday, February 6 flew away

Back to posting again. We have been in this school for a month already, currently entering the 2nd month. actually, we have a lot of things this month. it looks like the busiest month for the first term.

The first thing that we are going to have is the collection of 'o' level results. This friday (9th Feb 07) will be the day when all the 'o' level students will get ur results. school will end at 11 this friday. hope everyone get good results, including those IP students who are going to get your higher chinese.

before that, there's another important stuff. our class till owe ernest $890+, so i hope that all of you who still owe the treasury money, pls hand in the money to catherine asap, cause cat dont wan the class to owe ernest so much money for a long period time. settle it before CNY k?

Our ACT also suggested having a class outing after the release of the 'o' level results, so i'll ask around and see when you all can make it for a proper class outing ( i guess that time when most of the class went for the pool is not a proper one)

Next will be the valentines' day next wednesday. The Angel-Mortal thing will end on that day itself, with seniors revealing their identities to us, the mortals. then we have to exchange gifts on that day. Jian Kai, actually your angel is quite nice one, think ur better clear it up. On that day itself during the afternoon will be the school x-country at macritchie. We have a lot of guys participating from our class. Zhiwei, Yaolei, wenwei, eddie, longyi and me. i hope that artemis will win it and earn more points for our fac.

Friday will be the celebration for CNY, then the councilors gonna judge all the lanterns and the banner. other than these two, we still have the CNY stall to take note of. Kachang Puteh is settled. i have asked the councilors this morning and they are okie with the idea of us selling kachang puteh.

These are the many things which will take place during the early half of this month. quite busy for everyone i guess. Hope those who don't have cca tml can go and help in the banner tml. We still have the lantern. Got fac points for these two items.

Well I'd like to share a little bit :D In 2005 when dengue fever hit Singapore, I was one of the, uhh, victims. So I kena-ed dengue and ended up in hospital for 1 week. And I needed platelets cos if you have dengue you have very little platelets and your blood cannot clot properly. Therefore I am very thankful for people who donated their blood! And I'm going to be one of them and help save other peoples' lives. :D Join me?

Right as I was about to leave for lesson at 10.25, suddenly a whole bunch of people arrived for ice-cream, and I didn't want to reject them. After serving them I was late by about 5 mins ( I guess, Kaiming told me I was dam late and needed to do the 4 steps thing) so I actually prepared for 4-step apology and apparently it wasn't needed -_-'' Yea, so anyway I came prepared. Actually I thought Interact club was quite slack... Well they are slack in some ways, person-in-charge sms-ed me at 11.30pm and expected me to be awake, luckily I happened to be doing economics project... I replied the sms only to get daoed.

By the way, there is raspberry, mango, durian, chocolate chips, choc O' chip (whats the difference?) and 1 more which I can't remember =/ So please try to use ice-cream as a substitute for your drinks so that I can earn more revenue... I asked so many times also no one come and buy T_T

I shall end off the post with something that we learned from GP lesson today. " Shouldn't you guys stop teasing mike? What do you think? " XD

ERm....

haha.. so much things haf been said abt JTS...anyway, is realli fun and FULL-feeling.. my table Omgs in eatting... we ate a total of 88 plates... Zai rite? haha.. de name of those "Super Eater" shall be top secrete...haha... Anyway, Kai Ming, y u lik dat? force our senior to do wat dey long for? (is dis still a force?)... but urself nvr show wat u haf done before?... so...haize... anyway, hak care abt O'lvl, no matter wat, we wil be a united class forever... dat me assure doe non ip students dat u will be staying in HwaChong...(cos can see from ur attitude, all MUGGERs, haha...)anyway, Ah Soh, where is my "Happy" photo? can't wait to see dem...BTw, when is StJ, we shall drill a hole in oue seniors' pocket...i suggest dat's go to some place dat we can play as LOUD & MAd as we wan...while still having the FULL-feeling...

o7s6b - a class forever

Ytd we had JTS. although it was costly ($933) but i think it was quite nice. next time STJ we dun choose this kind of things le. we make full use of the 933 (or maybe can exceed a bit..) Actually i think it was the sakae sushi that was nice, it was the company of our classmates and seniors that makes the whole event very nice. almost everyone in our class and the senior class was present ytd. we seldom have this kind of things after our famous "polo sweet" when a lot of demo from our seniors were done.

I was sitting at the first bench (sorry for those at the back, it was languan who took everything) with Lan guan, Hany, my angel, ivan and sophia. when we were told that we can start, for the first minute, even the second bench din get anything. all thanks to lan guan who took everything in sight, for...... haha, you all know la. ivan and i were just sitting opposite them, so i guess many of you would have received the bluetooth pictures. it was quite fun generally, where some of the benches turn out to be a "zhong ji mi ma" table. i think it was michael and zhiwei's table. and correction to the earlier poster. the person whom im suppose to feed is called qianlei and i didn't feed her. she ate it herself. eddie's forfeit was very funny too. everyone burst out laughing. but the HIGHLIGHT was the senior class ct and act rep's performance for the camerassss. 7 times they kissed, but the angle was always not right for everyone to take video, except for my angel. asked her to put on YOUTUBE.

we then leave for pool, lan, home or spore river. kind of went separate ways la, but then most of them still appear at the singapore river. it was realli nice, the feeling of everyone sitting by the singapore river, talking, playing, etc. on the way to spore river rite, i noticed that eunice is very 'sua ku'. photograph of lao pa sha also wanna take. then i asked her why is there a need to take photograph of that (the road was being closed for the stalls wat, the satays and teh tarik). she told me that it's her first time seeing it.

we played zhong ji mi ma once more and then lots of forfeit was being done la. and wah lao, zhen cao, 501 also can zhong. and my forfeit, dunnit to say la. no evidence of my forfeit was taken down, so i actually did nothing for that forfeit. we took a group photograph, but a pity that not everyone was there. zhijie came when everyone was leaving. and i left with my gf right after everyone left (almost everyone actually, except for 2....) ya. it was a nice day and guess it was a nice dinner for the whole class as well. i was talking to ernest very seriously ytd abt the release of 'o' levels results. hope everyone do well k? dun worry too much. results are fixed, there's no point worrying abt it. but i wish you all luck for the results.

Saturday, February 3 flew away

the panda during jts

JTS today was really nice. I reached tanjong pagar mrt rather early (comparatively, yea i was late) so that means I lost in my weiqi competition (: Hahas anyway I never expected myself to win.

Gathering time was 1630. I reached at 1640. Seniors mostly reached at around 1650. LATE. And Longyi was latest at 1700 (wahlao longyi...).

When we reached Sakae Sushi at 1715 it was empty. And the 40+/- of us took up around 1/3 of the whole place. We took the leftest row with 6-seater and 4-seater booths. And we filled more than half of it. Hahas we're giving them nice business. So anyway. Right at the start people sitting far far behind could not get anything to eat. Reason: the booths in front (6-seater) are filled with people who can eat more. Eg. Daoteng, Jack. Enough le (:

So food was interesting and nice, as usual I was one of those who ate the most wasabi. So sad that no one played zhongjimima with wasabi as the forfeit. Haiz)= Anyway almost everyone became full after 1 hour. And we had actually wanted to stay until 9. Diao. So when everyone was full, everyone started to talk and play games. Zhongjimima, woosh, dare, dadadadadadada...

Interesting parts of Sakae Sushi (in words sorry I took no photos) which all came from dares:
- Kaiming "fed" Eunice? (dont rmb exactly le) He had to kneel down to feed.
- Mike "proposing" to Farrica.
- Languan having to kiss Hanyan. They kissed right beside Ms Yang. And she didnt come to their rescue when they called for help :D Also, she helped us count: they kissed 7 times in all. Cos the 1st few were too short or no one took a photo. Hahas until the last one a video was taken, check it out some time later. :D

We left at 2015+, not the original 2100, everyone was rather bored with the place. We split into 3 groups: pool/lan, sg river walking and home. Sg river walking gang walked there. And talked there. And lamed there. And interacted there. And whatever there. whatever...

We played card games (ass-hole taidi), zhongjimima (truth/dare), sang songs, dadada... For zhongjimima, my dare was to climb the tree (be more like a panda) for my guess of 132. That was rather easy lor. Some of those who chose truth were a bit ganga. Anyway the last part was Kaiming. He hit the jackpot (501) on the 1st guess (: Guess his forfeit.

Yea he had to kiss ziyi (his gf who arrived for the river walking). That was Languan taking revenge for the earlier dare (: So they were super ganga and we debated a while. In the end they kissed when no one took photos ): so sad..

Zhijie arrived at 10+ from her mum's company dinner. Hahas she was wearing super formal blazer. We left at 11+.

JTS ROX

Hi everyone,

JTS was simply awesome... Initially there wasn't any food because of the front 2 tables, which had the people with relatively higher consumption rates, i.e. the bigger guys... My table had Zhi wei and Hong hao, who kept pestering eddy because they didn't believe that he was gay. I'm going to buy a green sunflower (as requested by eddy) for eddy on valentine's day, so keep a look out for that.

Of course the guy's table ( my table ) was making the most noise. Noise is the side effect of "truth and dare". Han yan kept asking us to lower our voices. So sad I kena 3 times, on the third time had to do the forfeit, which you all saw. Eddie had to say to Xin Yi "你是我心里的一朵花", but the funniest part was when the senior kena on the first attempt. It was something like this, right after i did the forfeit.

Me: "okay 1 to 100"
Senior: "52"

And that was the magical number. So he had to come into close contact with someone for 3 seconds and get shot by "just 7 cameras" (as said by their CT). So well, that's most of the action for truth or dare.

After truth or dare, it was song session, where everyone kept singing chinese songs. Guys wanted Jay chou, and girls wanted S.H.E. Sadly I don't listen to many chinese songs, just a few Jay chou's songs perhaps. I think Jack's rapping is rather good anyway. I should learn to pick up some chinese songs to impress some people ^_^ English is outdated i guess :/

So sad time flew by so quickly, even though I stoned for 1 hr at the bus stop because i was extra-early, still the 3.5 hrs with my classmates didn't seem very long. I stay very far away, so had to go home, cannot play LAN or Pool, so sad... Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves yea?

In general, the food isn't that bad, the interaction was great, and the class spirit was perfect, hopefully our class can stay as harmonious as it is now, forever and ever, like in a fairytale - "lived happily after ever". I just love that ending, don't you.

Anyway here are some reminders - going to have to start on our uber big piggie lantern (hopefully 5 by 5 by 5 cubic piggie should be quite cute) Banner too, we should paint a pig, cat, 2 pandas and chip n dale etc.. maybe add a puppy as well hahaha. Banner should represent our class, and what a better way than to draw the animals that represent us right?

Sigh, everyday I spend with our class is another day that i feel more and more worried, 9th feb is really really getting close, and I feel quite emo every time i think about it. To be honest, I really wanted to pon JTS, because i was too lazy to go out, but after some time, i realised it could well be one of the last times that I see our whole class. So eventually I persuaded myself to go, even had to slightly argue with my parents... Are you guys inspired by me? lol, just kidding...

Just commenting here also, with regards to mass convos (previously at the time slot of 10 ~ 12 which shifted to 9.30 ~ 11.30 because everyone needed to sleep earlier), I believe that we should really get everyone to chip in to make the conversation more worthwhile k... otherwise it would be 冷场 even though there are many people, that time we had 14 in the same convo (max ever reached) yup, so just try to talk lor, interact more within the limited time we have left... homework may be homework, but homework doesn't seem that important now does it?

I believe this is about 3 posts all smashed into one, should be one of my longest posts so far, so i shall not be too 啰嗦 k... By the way, on behalf of 猫猫 those who haven't paid up for core module ($10) or JTS ($37 now... top up your $12 or $(12 + 5) k... ) please do so a.s.a.p. =)

'O' level results are to be released sometime next week, heard that its 5th 6th or 9th? Hahas, do you want it to come earlier or later? I'm not sure what the non-ip people would answer, but I wish it comes earlier so that the class can get over this period of anxiety and proceed. Anyways lets all wish our 'o's good luck. Even to us ip, hopefully everyone gets a1 for h chinese. (:

Oh yea. Kaiming and I were the only 2 in class for econs to not do the homework. So sad. Hahas so I promise to finish them on time in future lors.

JTS coming today. 4.30pm meet at Tanjong Pagar MRT, we're gonna have dinner at Sakae Sushi at CPF building. Hahas can't wait. But I may be late lor. It really depends on my competition later. I'm having this qualifying rounds for representation to World Amateur Goe (weiqi) Championships. If I win the first round, I'll be going on to the finals and thus will be late. If I lose, I'm automatically out and will be early. :D So do you wish me to win or lose?

heyhey, o lvl results are gonna be out soon. n we the non ip students are realli nervous..for me..its like omg. we noe its no use worrying what's done is done..jsut receive the results n make do with it. but it'll be damn heartless if we were made to leave this class n go somewhere else. I wanna stay in hc i wanna stay in artemis n most imptly i wanna stay in 07s6b. its gonna be very bad if anyone has to leave this wonderful class. guess many of us don't want anyone to leave ..the best is to not have anychange in the class list..everyone of us tells a story. everyone of us is part of this class now. n we shouldn't leave anyone behind. to me if anyone leaves, this class will be different. it'll no longer be the s6b i know now..n i feel we should realli build up class spirit n all cos everyone is impt, leave no one alone. one for all n all for one..yea. =)

the panda comes to post

hahas im sure everyone realized that most of my posts come after 10pm. yeaa im a nocturnal panda (: do i have panda eyes? then i can look more like a panda :D

anyway today's lectures were really interesting. we had this happy and optimistic lecturer in econs, who was smiling all the way till the end of the lecture. and some interesting gal from s7 smth snapped his really handsome photo. FLASH. quite stupid tho why the flash? get caught kena scold and ... then later maths lecture was a bit better, we found out more about the lecturer's private life: he has had 5 parrots before he donated them to birdpark. and he hasnt been to birdpark for a long time (other than the donating period perhaps).

oh yeaa sophia reminds us that we've been rather late with a couple of things: pe 18mins late, chem 10, etc. we'll be punctual in future yeaa?
